Can I download the vista recovery/installation disk?
I guess I’ve been downloading a bit too much, because Windows Boot Manager gave the message that windows has failed to start. Since I dont have this disk, can I download the data needed onto a blank data disk and restart it? All my work is on there and I don’t have backups with me!
p.s,its a Lenovo. I was able to make a recovery disk but it wont run…is there something wrong with my drivers?
The PC Make & Model number would have helped! "the vista recovery/installation disk" was likely hidden on your hard drive. The PC User Manual explained exactly how to find and burn your own Vista Recovery disk.
But, since you can’t access your hard drive anymore, you have to call the PC Manufacturer and order replacement Recovery Disks for your specific Model number, usually less than $50.
TIP: Unless you have a recent backup, all your personal data will be lost.
