Try Nucleus Data Recovery software from http://www.nucleustechnologies.com

In your case try using Kernel for FAT + NTFS (Advance Mode) or

Kernel Digital Media Recovery software.

I hope it will definetly work.

when you format the disc or hardware(your camera) the files are gone. when you delete them they are not. the space is just freed to re-use.. you need to have a program to serch for them. a normal user will not do it.

What user Ciarrochi said is good.

A good one I have personally had much success with is Get Data Back. There are free recovery solutions as well as those you have to pay for.

If you did a "Quick Format" of the hard drive in Windows you can recover the data. There are many free tools available (check Tocows.com or Downloads.com) that can help you get the data back, but if you did a Full Format you cannot get the data back. Same goes for the camera. If you deleted individual pics, you can get them back using the same software.

Assuming you have not done ANYTHING else to the drive, then you SHOULD be able to recover the data. I would suggest trying the program "PC File Inspector"
http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm

If that doesn't work, then you can try to demo and if it works purchase OnTrack's Data Recovery software - http://www.ontrack.com or SpinRite - http://www.grc.com/spinrite.htm

If those don't work, you'll need to spend money ($400-$1000+) on a data recovery service where you send the drive in to them
