How do I transfer data from drive C: to backup disk drive (D:)??

   well if u have backup partition, u should have 3rd party backup software. so, Every software should has data transfer feature.
   Find out if backup software u own has any feature that might help u.
   If there isn’t any (or u don’t have backup software) than u should be looking for Acronis Migrate Easy.
   This is data transfer software, including many other useful features, besides it’s rather cheap.

   Copy data? Or move it from one to the other? Either way, if your drives are all set up, simply select the files you want to move, and right click on them. Then, select cut (if you want to move them) and go to your D: drive and right click and select paste. If you are looking to copy your files (for backup purposes) then right click on the selected files and select copy instead of cut.

   what do you mean to transfer data? what kind of data do you want ot transfer? if you need to make a back up of the system - use 3d party backup progs like true image. and if you want just to copy some files, use copy&paste
