If you have not written over it then the data is still there. Only the first letter of each file is changed. Get the undelete utility and TRY to undelete what you have deleted and be careful next time. Good luck.
on a floppy disk, i think that data is gone for good.
otherwise, there is no way in Windows to get it back, and it does not go to the Recycle Bin ether.
