Sorry it is an external storing device so delete means gone.So before delete now onwards think twice. it wont hurt to create a back up

most probably not.. but a friend of mine used File Scavenger® Version 3 Disk Data Recovery Program and it work.. try the demo version first … if ur files are that important then buy the retail version.. there are lots of file recovery software that is available in the market .. and remember next to have at least 2 copies of very important files..
