		<description>The recovery partition is for a copy of the operating system for back up recovery. Open it, format it and then install Windows 7, normally when a full install of Windows is done it writes over every thing on the HD including partitions. Check with Microsoft support and the website for support of Alienware/Dell for help on this.</description>
