Where can I download an acer aspire 5515 recovery or restore disk?
Does any one know where I can get a recovery disk for my aced aspire or just a disk download to reinstall my softload… My laptop won’t boot up error bootmgr missing!! So I want to reinstall it clean. But i need to know were to download the data for free…

With the newer (last two years or so) ACER Laptop’s you are supposed to make your own restore and driver disk when you but the computer. Then it will be for your comp/system only. Have you tried contacting ACER customer service and ask them if they offer the disk? I do knoe on their website you can download the drivers for your Laptop. If you have Vista on it then you can borrow a OS disk from someone that is the same as you have on your comp and then you can use your COA from the sticker on the bottom of the comp.
I have repaired several ACERS for people that didn’t make a restore disk and most of them had Vista Home Premium loaded so I just used a Vista Home Premium OS disk to reload the OS and use their COA’s on their comp. Then I went to the ACER website and got the mobo drivers.

I don’t know of anyplace you can download it for free but you can get the disk(s) through restoredisks.com. They don’t charge much for them and once you buy them you will always have them around………….
